Women in Leadership (GCC)
Build the presence, networks and strategy to lead at the next level.
Course Overview
The structural shift across the Gulf is one of the fastest recorded anywhere. Saudi female workforce participation has moved from roughly 17% at the start of Vision 2030 to around 35% today — beating the original 30% target years early, with a revised national target of 40% by 2030. The UAE continues to drive gender balance through the Gender Balance Council and board representation requirements.
The consequence for employers is specific. A large and growing population of women is moving into first and second management layers inside organisations whose leadership norms, networks and sponsorship patterns were formed when that population was a fraction of its current size.
This is a leadership capability programme, not an awareness session. It builds the skills that determine progression at senior level — executive presence, strategic visibility, negotiating for scope and resource, building a sponsorship network, and leading across the generational and cultural expectations present in every GCC workplace.
Key Course Outcomes
✓Establish executive presence in rooms where you are outranked or outnumbered.
✓Build a sponsorship network deliberately rather than hoping for a mentor.
✓Negotiate for scope, resource and recognition with evidence and confidence.
✓Make strategic contribution visible without relying on being noticed.
✓Lead across generational, national and cultural expectations in a GCC team.
✓Build a concrete twelve-month progression plan with named sponsors and milestones.

Why strong delivery alone does not produce progression
Making contribution visible without self-promotion that misfires
Choosing the work that gets seen by the people who decide

Language patterns that quietly undercut a strong argument
Practice: a two-minute executive-level recommendation under challenge

The difference between a mentor who advises and a sponsor who advocates
Identifying and earning sponsorship deliberately

Managing a difficult stakeholder relationship over time
